I woke up at my usual 5:30AM for work and had an overwhelming urge to take a pregnancy test. 2 tests later and I couldn't wait to wake Jon up. I got ready for work in 20 minutes flat and then couldn't help myself- I was about to pop if I couldn't tell him the news right then. I was so happy that morning- traffic, lights, rude people- NOTHING was going to get me down. Our first appointment was that Friday- the week couldn't pass any slower. We got our first picture of the little nugget and celebrated that night at Trattoria Lisina.
That night we did face-time with Patti & Dogg to announce the big news. I know they say to wait to tell people but we just couldn't wait to tell our parents and siblings. The next day we did face-time with the rest of the grandparents and Auntie CJ. CJ's reaction was classic! We have everyone's face-time saved...can't wait to show Nugget one day. With Uncle Mike (Bubbas) being overseas on a boat, it was going to be difficult to tell him. He finally got to a phone and we told him over speaker (recorded from the other phone)- I couldn't tell if he was crying or just a bad reception but there sure were a lot of "OH MY GOSH!" So happy he will be here for the delivery!
